Here at The View Cafe Bar in Winthorpe, Skegness we are very proud to be the host to so many of your life’s celebrations. Our premises is available to hire as a venue and we can cater to many different sized parties. So no matter what event you are having, be it a baby shower, hen party, anniversary, birthday, wedding or a celebration of life we are here to help you.
Food choices available for your events
There are few different options when it comes to food for your event. We do of course offer a buffet which is a very popular choice when it comes to hosting a celebration of life but of course also works well for weddings and larger gatherings. There are 3 different package options and you can find these described in full below.
Other food options include an afternoon tea and these are a very popular choice for baby showers, birthdays and hen parties. Again there a few different options that you can choose. We have the Luxury afternoon tea which is priced at £24.95 per person or the High tea which is priced at £29.95 per person. We also have a themed afternoon tea which does change regularly, this is always advertised on our main page if you want to check what our current theme is and if it would fit with your occasion. There is also the option of ordering from the main menu, you can also pre book meals for larger groups to avoid waiting times.
Areas available to book for your event
There are a few different options when it comes to the area you have your event in and the size of your party can make a difference to what is available. Our most popular areas for events are the pink section and blue section.
The pink section is great for smaller buffets or for more sit down affairs such as afternoon teas, birthday meals etc. Pro’s to this area include the fact that it has some of the best sea views and is close by to our second bar if you were wanting a private bar as an option. The pink section is in the centre of our building though so it’s not recommended for very large groups as it will offer less privacy.
The Blue section is our largest area which makes it the most popular option and it is also at the back of the building and right next to our second bar which gives it the most privacy if you were wanting to be completely separated from any other visitors to our venue. For very large parties it also has the bonus of having a section of patio that could also be roped off and kept private for your event.
The option to hire the entire premises is available but the price for this would need to be discussed on an individual basis and the time of year will affect this greatly. There is of course no obligation to hire out entire sections at all, if you are happy to be seated near other guests then there is the option for smaller groups to be seated anywhere. We can just rearrange table to suit the size of your party.
Decorations and extras for your event
We have various options available for place settings and table decor if this is something you wanted to add to your booking. We will work with you to come up with the best options for you and your particular event. We have the ability to provide simple balloon options or we can also liaise with a balloon company on your behalf if you were wanting a bigger set up. We can also recommend other local businesses if you are wanting something that we ourselves do not provide such as celebration cakes.
